The Lanchester is in excellent original condition.

It still has the original high quality interior including full antique brown leather seats. Including the driver it comfortably seats four people. It is has an 11.2 HP engine and is six light saloon styled by Mulliner. This car also has the fluid fly wheel transmission and engine by Daimler.

So who are Lanchester?
Lanchester was a high quality car builder which ran from 1895 to 1955. The first prodution cars had air cooled engine in 1900, and were well known for the unorthodox way their first car was built. The company was taken over by Daimlers parent company (BSA) in 1931 and the name was still being used until 1956 when it was phased out.

So where does Mulliner come into all this then?
Well they go far back as 1760 where they began by building horse coaches for the Royal Mail. The full name a that time was H. J. Mulliner & Co. By the 1900's though there were four companies trading under the Mulliner name. Mulliner (Birmingham) built the bodies of both our cars
