Intro

These pages will follow the restoration of our Daimler DE36. Please visit regularly for up to date information on how the restoration is going.

The Daimler DE36 was Britains last straight-eight passenger car which started production in 1946 and ended in 1953. The sales brochure boasted that they where the largest type of car produced in the British Motor Industry, thay had a fluid fly wheel for a smoother drive, exceptionally roomy and comfortable interior, fitted electric windows and beautifully uphostered interior with a quiet dignified finish.
